Julia Iliadis is a Greek creative born and raised in Athens.

Her professional journey has been long and multifaceted, shaped by a lifelong commitment to personal growth, learning, and the exploration of her many talents.

For more than 30 years, she worked in the field of psychosocial health and substance abuse, serving on the front lines of addiction support. Throughout her career, she attended numerous seminars and training programs in areas such as experiential therapy, the causes of substance dependence, and counseling for vulnerable populations.

Alongside her professional work, Julia has been deeply engaged with the study of Astrology from a very young age. Her early encounters with the complex world of adults—and her reflections on human nature, social dynamics, and personal relationships—sparked a long path of inquiry. This led her to explore astrological and philosophical methodologies from various cultures, as well as metaphysical and occult theories. Since 2008, she has been particularly drawn to Chinese astrological methodology and practice, which has become a central focus of her studies.

Julia has also studied interior design and architectural drawing, driven by her love for aesthetics, harmony, and beauty. She has a deep appreciation for architecture and buildings—not only as living spaces where we work, rest, and fall in love, but also as expressive forms. She is equally passionate about painting, working with various mediums, sketching, collage, and other creative crafts, many of which she has not yet shared with the public.

All these paths—professional, artistic, and philosophical—have been guided by Julia's constant and insatiable desire for knowledge, reading, and discovery, a passion she has carried since infancy. Every book she has read, every class she has attended, and every insight she has uncovered eventually led her to feel a growing need to share what she has learned, experienced, and understood. She expresses this through her own books, as well as through any book that can offer knowledge and education to readers of all ages and interests.

This vision inspired her to create bookstories.shop, a publishing house and bookstore where she began writing her own books on various subjects—starting, naturally, with astrology. Over time, she will introduce a range of new topics that readers will find both engaging and enriching. She also writes regularly on the website's blog.

At bookstories.shop, Julia also presents a variety of items designed and created by her—objects meant to bring more color, joy, and inspiration into everyday life.
